Lunch at the estate
We offer you the possibility to extend your adventure…Would you like to picnic? Taste local products or even enjoy a lunch cooked and served by a chef and her team? After a morning filled with emotion, at the end of your tour you have the option to lunch outside under the trees of the estate: choose the type of menu that most appeals to you :
Fanny: chef, will cook a delicious sit-down lunch made from regional products (appetizer, main course, dessert, coffee or tea) : 64 euros ttc with two glasses of wine – you will choose from 3 different menus (under the condition that all products are available when the chef does her shopping).

Wine tasting workshops
We suggest that you complete your day at the Domaine HAUT LIROU by expanding your knowledge with : our wine tasting classes and/or a barrel tasting.
Thierry Boyer, sommelier advisor, will help you to decipher the language of wine and wake up the wine steward in you.
Introduction and perfecting wine tasting : In the estate tasting room, you will find yourself in a professional setting while you expand your knowledge of wine: grape varieties, winemaking, pairing food and wine, terroir, history…Thierry will also answer all of your questions! How to taste wine? How to store it? How to make wine ? … Thierry will share his experience and offer advice !

Who is Thierry ? Discoverer of wine, sommelier advisor…For 25 years, Thierry informs, advises and accompanies in the fields of tasting and discovering wines. A recognized expert in the wine world, Thierry also participates in different tastings for professional wine competitions (…) and is a member of the French Sommelier Federation.
Our cellar master will share her experience with you. In our underground cellar, you will taste directly from the barrels the estate wines while they are in the process of aging. Our red wines aging in French oak are waiting for you !
You will discover the evolution of a wine just like a professional : toasted, vanilla, melted, smooth, smoked, grilled, cocoa, pepper…this stage is magical !
